Andrea completed her diploma of Interior Design Technology from Lakeland College in 2008; Accredited by National Kitchen and Bath Association. This accreditation jump-started her career into the cabinetry industry immediately after completing her education. She had the opportunity to complete her practicum at a cabinetry manufacturing plant in Kelowna, B.C., where she learned the fundamentals of construction and the cabinet industry, and truly developed a passion for design.

Andrea listens closely to her clients and is able to assist them in achieving their vision, achieving beautiful spaces based on their wants and needs.Her designs are always well thought out, creating spaces that are visually stunning and very functional. Her creativity allows her to achieve the best possible design within each client’s budget. Andrea’s focus and dedication to her career are very evident with each interaction. She loves dealing with people and is a true professional.

Valerie has an extensive background in the printing industry where she did camera work, film and plate developing, layout and paste-up, typesetting and graphic design. In 1997 Valerie decided to expand into another area of design that always interested her. In 1999 she graduated with an Interior Design Assistant Diploma from Lakeland College in Alberta.

Fast forward to the present day and she is a Senior Design Consultant with 20 years in the cabinet industry. In 2001Valerie began her career as a cabinet designer with Tait Kitchen Centre and in 2020, when Friedt Finishing Inc.purchased the company, she was asked to join their team!

Over the last 23 years, Valerie has achieved a wealth of knowledge in cabinet planning and design for both renovations and new construction. She is passionate about helping each client create their ideal space that is tailored to their preferences, lifestyle, and their family's specific needs. Valerie is very patient and works with her clients to ensure they achieve their ideal space. Clients attest to her caring nature and her outstanding work. Her referrals and repeat business are a direct result of her achievement in understanding the needs of all her clients.

After completing her Architectural Technologies & Interior Design diploma in 2016, Jenaya's career began in the commercial construction industry working for a General Contractor. Through this work experience she developed a comprehensive understanding of commercial construction and building products. Her passion for creativity led her into the design world, working for another Saskatoon based cabinetry firm, and eventually to Friedt Finishing Inc.Jenaya is constantly developing new skills and learning about new materials to bring into her designs. She works with her clients to design unique spaces that reflect their personality while providing functionality. She loves integrating different design styles that compliment each other in order to achieve the client’s vision. Her previous experience in the commercial sector, combined with her passion for design and willingness to take on a challenge, makes her a great addition to the Friedt Finishing team. She aspires to bring out the best in everyone!

Aside from kitchen and cabinetry design, Jenaya stays creative in many areas of her life. As a natural artist designing illustrations, always trying out a new recipe, keeping up with fashion trends and finding her inspiration through travelling.

Jennifer loves organizing and creating! Leadership, business and entrepreneurship were interests that drove her to earn her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She has worked with, and volunteered for, many different organizations and groups, and truly loves people. Over the years she has worked in marketing, small business banking, and has been involved in the construction industry since 2009.

Jennifer manages the day-to day operations at Friedt Finishing Inc. Team building and understanding what their staff need to do their jobs successfully, is a large part of her responsibility and also her passion. She also loves being a part of the entire sales process at Friedt and enjoys seeing customers excited about their projects. Cabinetry and millwork trends are constantly changing but Jennifer believes that quality and customer service should always remain constant.

Wade was born and raised in Saskatoon. In 1985 he started at Tait Kitchen Centre, becoming their first delivery driver. Over the next seven years Wade worked in different areas including service, shipping and receiving and learned the details of the cabinet industry. In 1997, after a few years away to go to school and start his family, Wade came back to Tait Kitchen Centre to become the shop and installation manager. Wade remained an instrumental part of Tait Kitchen Centre’s success for the next 23 Years. During this time he built a reputation for his honesty and fairness in a competitive industry.

Having been in the cabinet business for many years, Wade is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful! He has a passion for seeking out whatever his customers need and is instrumental in helping them achieve the space that truly reflects who they are. 

In 2020 Wade had the opportunity to purchase the business he had spent so many years helping to build. He and Sheldon Friedt, the cabinet maker he hired in 1997, were able to combine their talents and experience, and bring together two successful companies to form Friedt Finishing Inc. Cabinetry and Millwork.

Sheldon was born and raised in the Battlefords and moved to Saskatoon in the late 90’s when the homebuilding industry was thriving. He joined the Tait Kitchen Centre Team as a cabinet maker and knew he wanted to be a part of the growing city!  

Sheldon’s love of carpentry and design were what began his career and would eventually lead to his own finishing carpentry business. Over the next 25 years, Sheldon built a business that has allowed him to work with some of the top home builders and designers in Saskatoon. It is through these experiences and opportunities that he has developed his skills and reputation as one of the best Finishing Carpenters in the city. Sheldon’s energy and dedication for his trade are what drive him to continually learn and grow.

In 2020, he came full circle and together with his business partner Wade Bricker, purchased Tait Kitchen Centre, the company where he began his career all those years ago. Today, Friedt Finishing Inc. Cabinetry and Millwork is a company of over 30 talented carpenters and designers, who all share Sheldon’s passion for quality and dedication to their customers.
